I fell in love with this anime but the ending really broke my heart. I still can't accept what happened. I can't believe Mei chose to go back for something 'she had to do'. And what was that supposed to be, hanging out with girls, who never liked her in the first place?! And to think she kept telling Ougai she would stay. He and everyone else were so sweet to her. I would marry him in a heartbeat! In a place where she was able to be true to herself and surrounded by people who adored her, I can't believe it ended like that. Aaaggggh!!! I need a second season where she comes back and they get reunited.

This is one of the few animes that isn't based off a manga series, which is awesome, but also sad. Because that means we will not have anymore for the storyline. I am so sad they did not renew this show. I absolutely loved this show! So worth the watch! And season one doesn't end on a pesky cliffhanger so it's something we can all enjoy even if we don't get more.

This show really gave me the feels. The romance, the comedy... it's everything. You'll love it honestly, how could you not, I really hope they come out with second season!
