Antigang: La Relève

If such a genre even exists, but I would like to classify this as a "family cop movie", or as a "daddy daughter buddy" cop movie. Why? Because we get to see a dad (ex cop), who has lost his wife in a shootout, who is now fiercely determined for revenge. Will the dad cop (together with his daughter) find the criminals who killed his wife? Part family portrait, part (light) action movie. Suited for family viewing. It is a gentle, charming and amusing portrait of lots of little quarrels between a cop father and his rebellious teenage daughter. And the other part is about dad and daughter together fighting the criminals, with some quite witty action scenes. Charming, amusing and (light) action packed. Not laugh out loud funny, but the charming kind of funny. Not terrific, but it'll do as a nice pastime...
