Not a big Cindy Busby fan, but put her with Christopher Russel & magic happens. They really have wonderful chemistry. Plus, they make quite an atrctive couple!
Favorite scene with Amy Atwater (Cindy Busby) - Tara and especially Mark very furious with her for disclosing the Waterfall's location in her article. (Note: She didn't do it - her Bosses did.) Very furious with her Bosses over the phone. Thank God Kyra overheard the entire conversation! OMG! Christopher Russell is both McDreamy and McSteamy! WOW!
Too much like Love on the Slopes which was a wonderful movie with awesome actors. I like the actors in this film but they didn't seem to fit the story line at all. Have watched Love on the slopes over and over but would never watch Chasing Waterfalls again
Not sure why Hallmark needs 11 year olds to be concerned about finding love and dating and all that. Kids that age are into their sports, their friends, school, hobbies. The actress playing the kid was plastered in make up and looked ridiculous.
And I don't even know if it was a real waterfall! This one was just awful. Horrible, cheesy acting from everyone, stupid writing, lame storyline, and if we are to believe that the leading girl is an amazing photographer, couldn't they have used better photos? I gave it until the 30 minute mark and then stopped and erased it. I am a Hallmark movie lover and almost always push through... so that should tell you all you need to know. Don't waste your time with this one! Hope the rest of the Spring movie lineup is an improvement over this lame movie.
I went to the north of my country to shoot long exposure of lakes, On my way back to home the journey was atleast 12 hours, so miraculously in found that movie and watched it all, such a beautiful, peaceful & calming movie at such great time! Also Excellent movie & casting. Cindy busby's cute & natural expression & christopher Russell's effortless acting got me hooked.
So I wasn't sure if I would watch this movie - the plot wasn't interesting to me but I like the male lead so I took a chance. I found it to be mostly dull. I had no real interest in the story or how it would turn out. I did like the father daughter relationship but having the female lead insert herself into their relationship with some really stupid speeches to the child about her childhood seemed fake. The female lead just talks too much. I think I'm just tired of seeing her in so many Hallmark movies - can't they find any other actresses? The whole thing about the waterfalls and their personalities - yawn. The bear was more interesting -they should have had it attack someone for a little drama. Oh and using TLC's song to promote this dull story - not a good idea. This movie has been on at least three times and I can't bear the thought of watching it again.
