mugulunage movie please
They showed struggle of kannadigas who tried to bring up their language.
Movie tried hard to make a good movie. Acting is good, direction is good, backdrop is good, dialogue is good, music is good, comedy is also good movie is also not too boring tries to cover soul of Karnataka by taking Gokak Chaluvali concept but team missed main thing of the movie thats story. Movie goes through so many phases without linking it logically. If story would have been good then it was a good effort. Plus Acting direction music location comedy, dialogue minus story no logicall linking of scenese not utilizing Gokak chaluvali concept properly
Way back in 2006, Yograj Bhat's Mungaaru Maley had broken all records and had set a benchmark in Kannada cinema. Debutant Director Vijaynaagendra has re-created this magic almost once again with this piece of art that invokes a variety of emotions in the viewer! This film traverses through three timelines - 2017, 2018 and the third set against the backdrop of the Gokak Chaluvali, which was a victorious language rights agitation for Kannadigas in the 1980s. Aakash, a young guy who has a false notion about love, realizes its true value only when his father narrates the chain of events leading to one of the turning points in his life. How this revelation affects Aakash's life, forms the rest of the plot. The film plays with the viewer's emotions with its brilliantly crafted script and gives you goosebumps. The first half of the film might feel predictable due to the conventional screenplay. However the second half has a completely different charm to it and there are several intricate elements adding a soulful touch to the movie. The key elements which makes this movie a soul-stirring watch is the acting, the simple yet endearing characters, the exceptional cinematography and the soothing contemporary and retro blend of music. Mainly the scenes showing the unique architecture in the city of Kolkata, the breathtaking views of the snow covered mountains somewhere in the North and the melodious song 'Geetha' in SPB's heart-warming voice! The only negative element in the movie would be the unnecessary fight sequences and chopping them off would have made this movie more shorter & crisper. Golden Star Ganesh stands out with his outstanding performance. He once again creates his magic on screen and you can feel him as a heart broken soul at the climax. Prayaga Martin is the other scene stealer with her lovely and inspiring performance. Shanvi steals your heart with her cute acting & expressions. Parvathy Arun also impresses with her sensuous acting. Rangayana Raghu gives his usual best dose of rib tickling comedy in a short & sweet role. Achyuth Kumar & Sudha Rani also play vital roles. To sum it up, this movie has all the right elements to make it stand out amongst the best family entertainers in Sandalwood and makes for a great emotional & entertaining watch!
