What becomes unmistakably obvious within the first 15 or so minutes of this movie is that it is (and is going to be) trying very hard to be something it has not the capacity to be. Everything wrong with this movie stems from its writing; writing that has all its work ahead of it to ever be engaging. It's a difficult task reviewing this movie because it's a difficult task giving any credit to this movie. It's as dead as Vijay Antony's ability to land a punchline. It's basically the "how do you do fellow kids" of thrillers. Nothing happens, and even when something does, it's silly... Silly, not because it's silly, but because you know it's trying very hard to be deep, sophisticated and taken seriously. The story is riddled with as much cliches as the dialogue is with its exposition, all leading up to a rather vapid and prosaic climax. It's a shame that it is though, because I enjoyed the Thamizh Padam movies a lot and was somewhat curious to see how director C. S. Amudhan would go about a more serious genre of film. It's ultimately disappointing and without a single morsel of anything worth recommending.
Movie is ok. One time watchable... But idea is fantastic and realistic... This is how caste based, religion based violences are ignited... Some people provoke others to ignite the violence...... Murderer is also a victim.. mostly young energetic youth will be the victim.... Great concept.. 2nd off was bit of drag.....ok... But idea is great... But sometimes I noticed some scenes could have been a spoof scene in usual CS amuthan movie ... Horse riding scenes were too exaggerated and not interesting... 1 or 2 places the usual CS amuthan comedy scenes were laughter.. but very few.. expected more comedy scenes.
The movie tells a unique story about how people can be tricked into doing terrible things because of false beliefs in religion, community, or celebrities. It shows how others manipulate them, making them do harmful things, all while hiding the real reasons behind their actions. The movie takes its time to tell the story, letting you really understand the characters and the plot. Some might find it slow, but it keeps you interested and builds suspense. The director did a great job guiding the actors, making their performances really believable. However, the music in the movie doesn't match the intense moments very well, which is a bit disappointing. The movie is thrilling and keeps you guessing. It explores the idea of how people can be easily deceived and forced into bad situations. It makes you think about how this happens in real life too, where people are manipulated because of their beliefs. In the end, the movie is a gripping exploration of human behavior and deception, even though the music could be better. It makes you reflect on how easily people can be misled and serves as a reminder of the dangers of blind faith.
