I rate this show right down the middle, a truly average show which might be worth a single watch, but will not be something I likely ever think about again. The premise was interesting. I was hoping that we would see more insight into the deeper and darker side of things. Unfortunately, this show tended to keep the true nature of the Japanese criminal underworld masked underneath a lot of over the top performances and 'cartoon-ish' violence. I can't really put my finger on it, but the show just felt poorly written and executed. There were so many interesting avenues that could have been explored, and yet, they decided to just sort of start the show off at full throttle and then just decelerate from there all the way to a lackluster ending.
