This lovely Christmas Cinderella story got very low marks but I really liked it and I thought the lead character was beautiful and a voice was awesome! I highly recommend this one to anybody who likes good Christmas stories.
I'm not sure what is more fake: the acting or the auto tune. I'm only ten minutes in and it's already difficult to sit though. The characters are unlikeable, the songs are poorly written, and the story feels like it was ripped from one of the other numerous "Cinderella Story" movies, just with current topics and slang and a Christmas theme added in. The only redeeming quality of the movie is the adorable dog in a wheel chair. Other than that, if you've already seen any "Cinderella Story" movies, you've seen this one too. This one just has more Christmas.
Autotune, the cringey step mom & sisters and all, and was cheated out of seeing a kiss. What kind of romance Christmas movie has no kiss? I feel bamboozled. The people deserve to know. 2 stars given to Greg Sulken, who can make it look like he's in love with anyone. He could literally look at a tree the way he looks at his costars and I'd think he really cared about it.
