Mein Na Janoo

Main Na Janoo is a serious dramatic series, with good narratives displaying the lives of several generations of a family based in Karachi, Pakistan. It covers out of the box themes such as vision loss, polygamy, accident trauma, and interpersonal conflict using characterisation from the leading roles of Saira, Zulqarnain and Nehaat. The series is based around a family which is in conflict over the supposed affair of one daughter in law with her husband's sibling, a situation which causes chaos between several generations of the family. Saira, the child of this woman, is treated with mistrust and apathy by the family as a result of their stigma towards her mother. She struggles to find acceptance and companionship in her immediate household, where she is expected to play the role of housemaid. Turning to her friendships with cousins Nehaat and Zulqarnain, she finds comfort in their presence, where she shares her problems. Both men attempt to proclaim their love for her, but while the family oppose Saira and Nehaat's potential relationship, they are supportive of the same for her and Zulqarnain. After being married to Zulqarnain, she is blackmailed by Nehaat, who attempts to break apart her marriage with Zulqarnain.
