Meppadiyan

After a long time, watched a good malayalam movie in theaters that can be enjoyed with whole family. Kudos to writer-director Vishnu Mohan for proving that good thrillers can be made without over the top action scenes and punch dialogues. The plot revolves around Jayakrishnan, a mechanic from a small village, how he is caught in the middle of a land deal, and the struggles to sort out alll problems. The positives are excellent script, awesome direction and fantastic performances by all actors. I particularly liked Saiju Kurup and Sreejith Ravi's acting. Heroine doesn't have much to do but delivered a convincing performance. Coming to the music department, songs are not super catchy but fits well with the situation. Climax background score was good.

The movie is so real that we can actually relate to the incidents happening in our Sorroundings. Excellent acting by Unni Mukundan and the other casts. Special credits to the Director Vishnu mohan for crafting such a master piece on Debut. We need such original cinemas in Malayalam film industry.

Movie is not based on complicated story line or time loop concepts like some recent films. This is a simple Story of a common man who faces a lot of acid test when he tries to make it big. Songs are excellent I should say. Unni has improved a lot but still needs to perfect his dialogue delivery and sentimental scenes. Aju vargese and Saiju kurupp was really good throughout the show. Some people are trying to paint communal colours for their political gains. Don't fall into it. This film doesn't potray anything as such. Do watch it with your family.

A very simple movie but includes a crucial subject . First half depicts the conflict though at some points there could be a lag . But the second half is more fast paced and interesting. Climax was just great and totally unexpected. A one time watch family movie .

It's a well shot movie focusing on a common man's struggle when he is faced with crony politics as the hurdle of leading a simple life. A reality in India, a country which is still plagued by the issues which is beautifully highlighted in the movie. A controversy has been made surrounding the fact that they used an ambulance which is owned by the RSS, a Hindu nationalist social service organization known as Seva Bharati. And the fact that the villain is surprisingly Muslim and hero a Hindu. Why would that be right? Muslims are just all encompassing good hearted beings:)) Besides all of this nonsense from the left and far right Islamic fronts, the movie is a must watch for family theme film lovers. Don't fall for the myth that this is propagandist. The Great Indian Kitchen normalising beef and Minnal Murali will also be propagandist if we apply their bigoted logic. Cheers guys.

Unni mukundan broken his stereotypical muscelman image and blend nicely with jaya krishnan. Amazing directional job from a new director. Class thriller movie with an unexpected thrilling climax. Saiju kurupp performed very well and nice character role from Aju Varghese.

Unnimukundan rocks as always. Story is good and it's life of a normal person. While there is an old-fashioned feel to the story telling, it moves along new paths that are twisted enough to keep us interested and also has us clenching our fists. Awesome acting by unni mukundan and his dedication deserved huge appreciation.

Good movie. Unimukkundan Acting was great. Nice story and good camera. Songs was ok. Won't make you lag. A good movie. Main highlight of the movie is Unimmukkundan' s character. He played it very well. Not a normal story. Has twist and a good ending.
