I know it's Kindergarten, so no pun intended is more than apt in this case. It works always, but more so here. Talking of working: our adults here do not seem to do the best job. Well unless you count their contribution to the comedy and the movie itself of course. That all said, the movie and the performances are quite decent. They all lead to a sort of climax - a standoff too. Overall I reckon it is predictable - I also believe that there are nuances here (story and character wise), that are especially clear to polish audiences ... a connection others may not have I'd say. And that is ok - still the movie can be fun, if you let it guide you ... now you get a treat from one of the adults too (who behave like children a lot of the time too of course)
