I'm a bit partial to the Christmas movies only but this touching story captivated me. I like that the leading ladies were not the typical friendship you'd witness. Different socioeconomic and ethic backgrounds with the woman of color having financial status. I feel this should be the norm to represent more BIPOC households. I loved the talent. Both ladies can dance and the twin's character can sing and she's gotten so much better with time. I genuinely just enjoy a showmanship movie. Lifetime and Hallmark are great at storytelling and dialogue, but I yearn for upbeat stories with theater. These actors usually come from musical backgrounds so I hope we see more original songwriting and scores. I hope to see more of these two in the holidays. Very gorgeous young women who keeps the Hallmark spirit alive with their quintessential beauty, bright smiles, and amazing acting abilities. 9 for the uniqueness, diverse cast, and artistry.
I thought the movie was fantastic!! It was so relatable to us moms! Listening to Tamera sing just makes me so happy. Her voice is so angelic. Glad to see her in her element! I felt the chemistry was great with the entire cast and acting was great as well. It was so authentic. Everything just flowed so organically. My mom called me and she's already watched twice and calls me every time it comes on! Lol. The movie inspired me to never give up on my dreams even though I'm a mom. My kids will see that I kept pushing and it will set a great example for them to keep pursuing their passions! This was definitely a feel good movie/musical! I'll be watching again! Great job!
This was a good movie, it brought in some realism that Hallmark has traditionally neglected with the prince charming and return to hometown plots. We immediately saw that the women are bustling with the diner scene and rushing to work scene. We got panoramic shots of the city so it clicked they're big city girls that tried to get a break. I like that the women have real-life issues, it hits home as a momma who chose domesticity over my career. I don't like abandoned single mom characters. I would've preferred Claire be widowed. Call me old-fashioned but I don't like it promoted although it's modern day reality. Overall nice movie about following your dreams and nice duality between characters and overall cast chemistry.
Hallmark has blessed us with another classic movie the fans will enjoy for years to come. I normally don't sit through a full two hours but this one was worthwhile! "Curtains up, chin up buttercup..." the moment I heard Tamara's heavenly voice with the Broadway instrumentals in opening, I knew we had a gem. Chelsea looked beautiful too, like a porcelain doll with her ballerina moves. Fast-forward to present day, both ladies just were breathtakingly stunning and living mom lives. Tamara in a nuclear family having a slice of the American pie and Chelsea's character in a chaotic, couture lifestyle. I enjoyed this dichotomy between the two moms. It's not seen often on the Hallmark channel. I loved how Tamara and Chelsea met in the studio, it was expected how they got the name Dream Moms. I figured it was an ode to Dream Girls. The ladies talent really stole the show, vocals and moves. This was a fun movie and got better once we got to the middle and end with practices and they're filming for the show. I love how Tamara's character was conflicted with putting herself first or focusing on her family and fostering their dreams. It was truly a woman's empowerment story centered around reinvention and it's never too late to follow your dreams. I loved this, just in time for mother's day. I watched it with my mother and grandmother, we're all avid Hallmark fans. Seeing my mom tear up towards the end solidified this movie is worth a review. Amazing film!

The movie is an absolute disappointment, lacking any redeeming qualities or interesting plot points. From poor acting to cringe-worthy dialogue, it fails to engage the audience. There are no moments of excitement or emotion, leaving viewers feeling bored and uninvolved. It is difficult to find anything positive to say about this film, as it falls short in almost every aspect. Overall, it is a regrettable experience not worth anyone's time. I was expecting a fun movie night, which this was certainly not. Despite the increasing use of a particular form, professional standards are being neglected and are lower than ever before. It is indeed a disheartening experience for individuals who are passionate about cinema.
