Really good, I've seen all of the films in the franchise. This is the least 'gritty' of them, lots of one liners, but some good beatings dished out by Craig. Acting is good, a few of the supporting actors weak, but nothing major. All in all, I love this. Just rented from Apple for £5.99 and I'm left satisfied.
No 1 on I tunes independent chart and still in top 10 hardly bad reviews
This film deserves more than 10 stars, absolutely fantastic! All of the rise of the footsoldier series are brilliant but this one really does top the lot! Can't wait till it comes out on DVD!👌🏻
Obviously you know what you're going to get with these films but the comedy aspect made it far more watchable than usual.
I loved the first one (obviously). And didn't think too much of the sequels. But I really enjoyed this one! Tightly edited, never a dull moment. And doesn't take itself too seriously. I smiled the whole way through it. If you're not being too precious or snooty about your expectations then I'm sure you'll enjoy the boys on this particular adventure :)
Let me just get this out the way first, this is not a true story do not approach it as such, at this point pat Tate in this series is essentially the equivalent of Dominic torreto in the fast and the furious franchise, and the franchise in general shares some similarities in that the original movie started out as crime drama, and as each movie goes on it just gets bigger and over the top, who knows one day pat Tate might save Downing Street from terrorists, but seriously I had a great time with this movie and I loved the direction they went with it, the lighter tone, the injection of more comedy, the double act of terry stone and Roland manookian is genuinely hilarious, and Craig fairbrass is as brutal as ever as Essex hard nut pat tate, even though most of the movie is fiction they do throw in a nice recreation of a Nigel benn fight that boxing fans will enjoy, at this point stop complaining that it isn't accurate to true events and just go with it, as this is a great entertaining and hilarious British crime thriller, it's actually the best since the first one, I'm loving the direction of the series and I cannot wait for the next one. Wait till after the credits for a nice hint at the next one.
This is an epic film OMG Not seen this yet? WHY NOT! That is all! Smashed the last 3! I'm still siting here still laughing agog & simply blown away!
If Nick Nevern is in a film, it's bad. That simple
There is a hersay about the brits that they are..........! and this film really shows the cruel side of it. its as you may expect, coke, lots of f-words, and c-words, a whole lot of beating stabbing and shooting, stealing ,cheating and messing around. and in marbella, there are of course no policia/bobbies or bills around, not even a siren, just nice big houses with big bath tubs and of course some british crooks. i think that even a nitwit can understand that this cant be a reflection of true events. but there are some funny sideshow of bipolar origin that goes tandem with the bad attitude, and if it hadnt been for these moments i would have walked out of the aula. its the rise of the footsoldier, the grumpy old man understands that, but the mix of gaelic and keltish rumblethumb like king rollo on a high are just good enough for a five.a dig for the blood and gore fan...
Wooden acting, scenes that don't even try to fit together, let alone create a coherent story . Stereotypes, boredom, and more stereotypes . And still no writing or editing that makes it a comprehensible tale of sorts . Filming and visuals are ok, but the acting, directing and script are tacky and cheap .
