This was based on one of the most widely debunked set of claims ever to make it into the NYTimes. Even Trump haters who work in the taxes dismissed these NYTimes claims. Keep in mind this is by the same team that "discovered" that six companies in which Trump held an"ownership interest" went bankrupt, without bothering to note that the definition of an ownership interest used meant Trump "owned" over 1,000 corporations and six bankruptcies was a LOWER bankruptcy rate than the average in the hospitality (hotels/restaurants) and real estate development business sector. And sorry but everyone knows that the real estate bubble caused by the massive relaxation of mortgage qualification under Bill Clinton caused a real estate crash and that EVERYONE substantially invested in Real Estate would be taking massive write downs and paying very little tax for over a decade after that crash. The NYTimes wont take a look at the top seven DNC donors, including Bloomberg, Steyer, Soros and others who appear to be paying little to no taxes, will they now?

I don't know what the people at the NYT are thinking, the IRS would have audited his father's estate if they thought something illegal was done.Really an 3 year old made his father give him money lol.Everybody knows Donald Trump received money from his father when he died ,this probably won't change anybody's opinion of Trump but this documentary looks like a comedy piece by SNL.So now that Russiagate didn't work it is dadgate, please stop hurting our country NYT by pushing globalism and wars (see Iraq 2003 and your phony push of WMD on your front page.)w star because this will be fun7to look back on in 2025 when Trump leaves office.

This was a fascinating look inside the investigative bombshell NYT published on October 2, 2018. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer and went into more detail about their findings - it was just too short. Nevertheless, what was clear was how much time and effort went into investigating Trump's finances by the journalists. The story should be getting a lot more attention than it has gotten, but it was released the same week as a highly controversial Supreme Court confirmation battle. In any case, I don't think the story will change the minds of many Trump supporters, nor do I think the big reveal was all that surprising to most. However, the story does reveal just how deep that rabbit hole went and that the fraudulent methods by which the Trump children evaded taxes was really quite shocking. For the full pulitzer-worthy story, read the NYT article. This documentary is more supplemental to it rather than a replacement for.
