It's drama with action thrown in. What makes it a poignant, endearing film is it's a coming-of-age film for a nerd who becomes a teenage gangster to prove a point. There have been films with this theme but the way it's told is refreshing. It starts rather slowly but picks up pace half way through. The young actors playing the roles of Nacho, Tere and Zarco are fairly unknown but they succeed in portraying the angst and recklessness of youth. The scene with Zarco 28 years later is memorable. And that scene at La Font towards the end of the film is heart-breaking. Kudos to Daniel Monzon for an unpretentious, down-to-earth film.
This is another typical netflix movie that checks off all the boxes once again.....of course the main character has to be a bullied kid. Of course the main girl has to be someone who is unconventional looking. Of course there has to be a "twist" at the end which doesn't reveal anything relevant or important. This movie was so seriously unbelievable, everything that happened made me roll my eyes, it all came off as so by the numbers and predictable.

Bad Acting Horrible camera work Grade school writing poor story telling - very formulaic - no surprises here❗❗❗ 15 minutes is all I could manage to watch before I just couldn't anymore.
