silence
On the whole, quite gripping. Manoj Bajpayee certainly has acted well and that is one of the reasons to watch this movie. Standards, similar to the first version as well. One thing which I certainly disapproved about is the use of abusive words like "Maa..Chod" and "Bhos..ke" being used by Manoj himself who is an educated ,senior Crime Branch officer. This was not required .Not good f young, impressionable minds. There are other ways to drive one's point across ( forcefully) Manoj Bajpayee is probably the Director as well,so the responsibility on him.is even greater .This happened in the first version as well.
This was a sequel to Silence, but couldn't stand up to it. Poor plot which often strays only to be brought on track by actors. Though acting is good by the actors. There are too many technical words while investigation. It looks like the actors are acting and speaking among themselves without realising it is a movie for common people, so jargon may not be understood by everyone else. The plot is also confused and leads to one path to other without clear theme. In the end they even get LGBTQ thing. The movie is also long about 2 hours and 20 minutes. The final secret is revealed beforehand by the lead actor. Waste of time can spend better.
The story starts as a murder mystery and becomes thrilling towards the end. Intriguing at many parts. Few parts could have been cut short for a even compelling story. Performances are so good. Manoj Bajpayee as usual - perfect. Prachi Desai did a clean role. Others performed well too. The story is guessable at many parts but has surprising elements too. The antagonist also delivers a convincing performance. Believable investigations and ending. I do not know why this film is so underrated. Overall a decent murder mystery film which is worth a watch if you are a fan of this genre. Go for it!
