an amazing need to watch film
source: Take Me Home Tonight
Take Me Home Tonight is a 2011 romantic-comedy movie that I had been meaning to see for a long time but just didn't get to. I only wanted to see it for two reasons: it looked bad, and Teresa Palmer looked really hot on the poster. So last night I saw the movie, and it was a lot better than I expected. A lot of the jokes do fall flat, and the storyline is a little dumb, but that is to be expected. The characters and most of the dialogue were actually pretty good, and I found myself enjoying the movie.
"take a shot at something. Just take a shot son." "I don't know where to aim Dad" "Doesn't matter, just take a wild shot. I would like to hear just the gun go Off!! " the best lines of the movie The movie was the best i've seen this year. A sweet and funny movie with a great moral at the end. Acting wise, all were brilliant! Only wished that Anna Faris had more screen time :( "You haven't really failed son, coz u have never tried to succeed" Do yourself a favor, just go watch this movie. I swear u all will love it. Just let the movie take you on a ride. I promise you won't be disappointed.
This is a lightweight movie but mostly enjoyable, nothing spectacular it's not something to watch to study 80's culture. If I rated it without the background music it's a 6. Topher Grace and the choice of 80's music is what made me keep watching and made this enjoyable. Acting/Casting: 7 - Topher Grace, Chris Pratt barely recognizable he looks a lot better now. Directing/Cinematography/Technical: 7 - 80's look and feel good and as the usual stereotype props are there. Plot/Characters: 6 - boy tries to impress girl with an "clever" ploy. The characters follow a predictable recipe. Entertainment Value: 6 - You may get a laugh or two and will make you smile. Not something you would see at a cinema but solid for television.
The TV series Take Two really grows on you and the episodes are interestingly good. This series should have a chance at a season 2.
Great movie with 80's nostelgia. Good fun, excellent feel good movie it good old 80's style. Teen movie lovers this is a must watch
This movie had some great talent. The actors try. But it is definitely a movie made by someone that didn't grow up in the 80s. Really this movie's plot could have been in any era.
One of the all time best 80's soundtracks of any movie.. the rest is predictable and somewhat cringeworthy.
The music video on youtube, is awesome. The movie is bland, awkward, cringy, and just doesn't work. Chris Pratt's worst performance.
